Highlight: “We have found ‘Murder 1′ sounds a bit like suspended reality — like the dreamy state that comes with being half-awake or intoxicated in some way,” Matt of WAZU tells Spinner. “We wanted to present ourselves in that light in the video. We went through a couple of directors trying to find the right fit, but in the end realized the best path was to do it ourselves. Rizz took it all on board, and came up with something that is a little bit surreal, which we wanted – we didn’t want to conceptualize the hell out of it or be too grandiose, we just wanted to be in a dream, probably a bad one.”
